bimmer enthusiast here -- hello all

Hi all, in a separate thread I posted a question about an E39 5-series that I am looking for.
http://www.bimmerwerkz.com/forum/5-s...nik-72108.html

Don't know why I never joined this site before, but I've been a BMW man for years. I had a 2001 E46 M3 from 2001-2003; my brother had a 2001 M5 from 2001-2004; and I had a 2009 E92 M3.

Other BMWs of note that my Dad had were a 1988 735i, a 1991 850i, a 1995 740i, and a 2008 M6 Convertible. My brother also had a 2008 335xi.

I really don't like the direction that BMW is going with its new cars, which is why I am looking to relive a great era in BMW history by buying either a 1997 840ci or a 2003 E39 540iA sports sedan.

That's about it for now.

Best,
David
