Another Newbie checking in.

Five years ago my wife decided that since out boys are grown and gone, she needed a sporty car again. When we had children and while they were young, she always drove Corvettes, a 76 Stingray, 78 Anniversary and 82, which was the only car I actually drove off the showroom floor.

Corvettes are nice, but they don't make good travelers, and we love to travel. So I found her a 325ci Mystic Blue convertible. It was 3 years old and I told her we would trade every couple years, that way we would keep a fairly new car and it wouldn't cost as much t trade. But she fell "in love" with car and would not let me trade it until recently.

This time I found her a 2010 328i Monaco Blue convertible with 25,000 miles. I has navigation, sport package, upgraded M 18 inch wheels and tires, paddle shifter, etc.

We have already driven it to Florida and it is a real traveler. My wife drives the BMW daily. My baby is a 2010 Ultra Limited Harley Davidson.

My son has a MINI Cooper Roadster John Cooper Works and his wide drives a MINI Cooper S.

Glad to be a part of this forum.
