Hi All
Just joined the site and it looks like a brilliant source of information.
I have a 2006 520D and it is booked in for a NCT test here in Dublin tomorrow. I need to reset the service, brake fluid and brake pad lights in order to pass the test ( I have had these seen to but lights still on) Can anyone help.

two options IMHO;

first option, grab a sharpie and color those suckers so no one notices.
second option, get some black electrical tape and cover those guys up!

i like option two since you can always remove them, or leave them, out of sight out of mind.

btw i am serious, my car tells my check my brakes everytime i start it up, BMW saftey feature that i press the pedal and the light goes off...i say NO, i brake when i want to.

Welcome to the Werkz. If you have a laptop and carsoft SW and cable you can reset them (from memory), but I can't help you from here. Good luck
