Hi to all.
I have a 2003 735i Motorsport and my wife has a 3 door 2003 525i Motorsport.

I say hers is a 3 door because at the moment we can't open the drivers door.
have destroyed and removed the actuator, but still can't get it to open.
Anyone with experience on this please let me know ASAP.

Removed as in replaced? Acutators cant be fixed and have to be replaced when they fail.

Removed as in destroyed, smashed the living daylights out of it through a hole I made in the door trim. Then discovered i could pull out air bag cover, air bag and get in through that way and pry the rest of it off the lock mechanism.

Note the door is locked closed, i have removed the door rubber an have dislodged the door trim/card, but can't get it out of the way.

dispite the fact the actuator has been removed, i can't get the door to open. Is there something i need to push or pull or ???? to release the double lock?

Their should be a rod that connects to the handle. Pull it up and it should open

Why did you destroy it? Weren't you able to reach it when you took the panel off?

I can't easily get to it. The door is locked closed and won't release.
There is a plastic cover over the cable that runs down from the handle. It covers the lock assembly.

Working in there is pretty tight and i have MAN hands, also being 6'4" getting into a comfortable position is not that easy either.

I have removed the outside door handle and can still not get the door to disengage.

Can you reach the door latch that connects to the frame? May require another "hole" but that's how it locks. Take a look at the other door to see.

thanks for your help, i can reach the lock assembly, but can't find what i need to press, pull or lever to operate the lock. I am sure it is still double locked.
I have seen via a mirror, a lever (flat plate with a hook shape that would have been inside the actuator) that will pivot forward, but tit does not seem to do anything.

Has anybody got a diagram of the insides?
