94 525i is running rough

I know I am just supposed to say hello, so here it is , hello. When I was driving, the check engine light came on and the car started to run rough, it cut off when I stopped. I eventually changed the spark plugs but it still runs rough. What should I do.

Welcome to the WERKZ........... do still have a check engine light? plugs ok, what about the Air & fuel filter...... maybe you have a coil misfiring???
