91' 525 windows and moonroof dont work

I was working on the door latch and now the power windows and sunroof stopped working, I checked the fuses, they are fine, dont know which relay switch is for the windows . now the power door locks stopped too. Also unrelated to this problem. is there a way to reset the ecu without having to buy the service reset tool? thanks !!

you might have disconnected the window switch/es while working on your door latch. backtrack and re-check your work :-)

reset ecu and reset tool - two unrelated things. reset tool only resets the oil service lights.
.. but... to reset ECU... easiest way is to disconnect battery & leave it overnight or longer . no power to ECU will reset to original settings :-)

well, I found it was the window fuse under the back seat, and bling ! everything was working again, but I made the mistake of pulling the relay to transmission and now the check engine light is on and the trans program code keeps coming up.plus it runs like crap. any help with this one? thanks!!!

rechecked all the relays, pulled and clean, now all the codes are gone.
