I picked this car up from my neighbor in June, and to date, have driven it only 100 meters puttering down the block. I replaced a lot of things and now can't get the damn thing to start even though it cranks good. I admit, I probably did something, but blame is beside the point right now.
The car is awesome to look at it and I will probably end up forking out a couple hundred bucks to get it to run (I only bought it for 250) and will feel damn good about it once I hear it purr.
If you think you can help me with my no-start issue, go to the e30 section. If I don't figure it out soon, it's going on a trailer to a mechanic within the next two weeks.

If I were you I would check all the fuses, certain fuses control spark & fuel to the engine......if all the fuses check ok, next I would pull an ignition wire off the plug leaving about 1/4" gap, crank & check for spark, if you have spark reattatch the wire.......& check for fuel pressure......a common problem would be a faulty fuel pump!

Thanks guys. Even though I've never actually driven a BMW even barely the one I own, I feel apart of the club already.
I can at least say that pushing it from my neighbor's to my Mom's garage was much easier than it would have been to push my Volvo wagon.
