745Li Navigation Issue - I'm driving in the ocean!

I have a 2003 745Li. My navigation system shows that my car is always traveling off the coast of Los Angeles while I'm actually in San Diego - on dry land. I just got the most recent cd software update and installed it. Did not fix the issue. Do any of you know what may be going on? Kind of a pita. Makes driving directions useless.

Sounds like a GPS module failure ! Is it still located in the roof-lining on that model?

If you are asking if there is a small "fin" on the roof just in front of the rear window, yes. Would that be the module you're talking about?

Sorry no, yours is either in the roof-lining or near front screen !!
