330ci Auto - auxiliary Fan only runs on high

Help for a AUX fan running way too fast

I've read several threads describing my problem ....
AUX fan racing at full speed after 20 sec of starting the engine and runs contiuously until I turn off the engine ... but no actual solution.

I have a 2005 330CI auto with the Aux fan on front of the radiator.
I replaced the temp sensor in lower radiator hose .. No change

I have seen suggestions....
replace FSR
replace ACU Sensor
Replace the Aux Fan

Anxious to hear from someone who has actually fixed this problem.
