Hello All,
new to site, from Dublin, Ireland. I've got a 320d and the engine so far had a gasket change on the rocker cover as it was leaking oil, then seized injector, three new heater plugs. Got it back and leaking diesel (the smell), thats sorted. On the way home lost all power, smoke like you would not believe. Runs and starts fine, 136hp 2001. Any ideas guys?
How many miles on it? Smoke tends to be a sign of bad combustion. Bad injectors not misting fuel well, maybe you need to test the cylinder compression. How is the turbo charger?
137000miles on the clock, well serviced running grand. Just got it back from so called engine pros and they messed with the injectors, checked it all said they all were fine. But they did cause half a tank of diesel to spill on to the road over a weekend.Turbo is fine, just checked 2000 revs nice little whistle.
