| 1. Yes, you can replace your own windshield wipers.
2. The water in the passenger footwell is most likely caused by missing or compromised vapor barriers on the doors. Often, when BMW techs work on window regulators or other items inside of doors, they will take off the factory moisture barrier and then fail to replace it with a new barrier. One cannot reuse the old one. If this isn't taken care of properly, people often wind up with water in the footwell.
