Unhappy 2000 528i rough idle

I need some help here. I have a 2000 528i that had a check engine light soon come on a couple of weeks ago. I changed the pre O2 sensors and one post sensor. The check engine light went off and the car ran great for about 4 days. It now runs rough and I am getting terrible gas mileage, but no check engine light is on. HELP.

By rough idle, is your engine surging up/ down. I had similar prob with my e36 and found it continued even after o2 sensor changed. found wires from camshaft position sensor insulation gone so wrapped with electical tape & all was well

Could well be your MAF and the throttle body needs a clean.

If it was the MAF wouldn't the computer spit out a code? I am codeless.

Not always...unplug it whilst running if it runs like crap and then when you plug it back in it runs normal then its fine, if there is no change its the MAF.
