| 1997 M3 Center Console
I have a 1997 M3, Luxury Package. The wood center console has cracked. Despite a year of looking for a replacement at a reasonable amount I have decided to replace it with a vinyl console. I had some other work done by the dealer and asked how much they would charge to replace the console. They wanted $100. I can't believe it is that difficult. I want to do it myself but don't want to purchase the shop manual. Has anyone replaced the center console and can you get me started so I can access the screws without breaking something. When I say center console I mean the curved piece that surrounds the gear shift and the switches. Thanks |
