Is there a diagram or anything for the M50 to E30 wiring if it has already been started? My buddies car is supposedly 3/4 of the way done according to the previous owner, and I don't know if it would be easier to just finish the wiring, or put it back to how it was, and buy the treehouse part.
Great progress so far buddy!

nice btw there is a m50 non vanos sitting at pick in pull in newark... dont know if you need any parts from it... just let me know
most electrical parts dont swap from one to the other so no...though i am short a few injector clips...i was planning on just pocketing a few from the local pnp though lol
just finished moving so back to work...welded the nutt for the oil pump to prevent it from backing out...top end is all sealed and done...oil pump is mounted now im just waiting on the oil pan bolts...my engine didnt come with any haha...should be ready to mate to the transmission monday or tuesday...
nice man. i bought new bolts for the oilpan on mine. grade 8 baby.
hah...i dont think i would run grade 8...too hard, not enough tensile strength for the expanding and contracting of the metal in heat...just a thought...haha i just ordered new OE ones
