Anyone have an M6? Just wondering, it is a wicked nice car. Sorry to be so vague. Thanks.

My good friend has one...he also owns the truck in the avatar.(1950 Chevy)... the only car I have ever worked on older than me.
He took the M6 to the dealer for an oil change and they left the oil cap off. When he got home it was smoking and he cleaned up the mess and called the dealer. The Dealer told him to add some oil and drive it back. Well it caught on fire and he had to have it towed! No major damage. Man I would hate to be that Tech!!!!
It is an awesome car, but very complicated...apparently when you buy one they send you to their test track and let you drive one balls to the wall on their track. They require a few hours of instruction and then turn you loose. He said they really push you to open it up and he barely kept up with their drivers. If I remember right BMW allows you to do this on 2 seperate occassions...... Whoa what a blast!! What a car!!!!
BMW puts new tires and brakes on every test car after a days run.

Well they definently don't do that in Canada, which is a shame. That'd be an amazing experience.
One thing I found interesting is that during the break-in period, they chip the car to only put out about 330 hp so you don't screw up the engine. During the first service, they remove the chip (at around 5,000 kms).
