2007 M6 Gas Pedal Sticking

Has anyone heard of the gas pedal sticking on the M6? I think it is electronically controlled so if that is the case the pedal is not really sticking the car is just electronically flooring itself. I think this just happened to my wife today and I am wondering if this is possible or if anyone ever has heard of this happening?

I think I'd start with the cruise control. What did she do to get it in control?

did she happen to hit the Cruse control on the steering wheel i've done that once Sure scares you! if she hit the brakes and it "unstuck" then I think it was the cruse control

No she didn't hit the cruise control. She was at a stop light at a stop, turned right and stepped on the gas in M mode, but didn't floor it. Back end fishtailed to left and she overcorrected and car went 90 degrees to the left straight across a concrete median and across five traffic lanes, all the while she was smashing the brakes with her right foot. She was going straight for a tree when she turned 90 degrees to the right and car's front tire came off when car hit grass. She stopped 2" from the tree. Luckily there were no cars in the five lanes she crossed, as usually it is full. We think the gas was floored the whole time. I was in front of her and saw it in my mirror. Was a crazy seen. If the car acceleration is electronically controlled we are sure that is what it was.

i had a situation like thius once.. not in an M6 of course.. it actually ruined my night of getting some tail.. hit the cruise to free my self a bit ... starting putting some moves on ... all the sudden the car is going as fast as it possibly car.. I'm on the breaks like crazy and nothing is happening.. I took the cruise control fuse out the next day.. unfortunately never got a chance to re-enact with the girl = ( she was hot too...

I had something like this happen as well (although not as bad). It turned out to be that the floormat was pinning the accelerator down partially...
