Want to buy a 2003 M5 - What should I look for?

Hi Guys,

New to the forum (my first post). I am looking to buy a E39 M5... perhaps a 2003. I am not new to BMWs... I have had a few M3s over the years, but this would be my first M5. Appreciate your advice/thoughts on an 03 M5. What are common problems/issues I should look for? I suspect this is a common question. Are there a couple of links/websites with background on maint costs/reliability/common issues?

Thx,
L76
