| If that is the same as the m60/m62 motor which is should be you need a 36mm socket to loosen the oil filter cap, and then when you pull that off the oil filter will be attached to that cap in which point just give it a lil tug and it'll come right off.
EDIT: if you dont use a 36mm socket or the special tool for removal, its VERY difficult, i tried doing it with large vice grips before and i almost broke the housing. If you dont have the right socket, go invest in it, its a good socket to have if you do your own work, you need it for wheel bearing replacement as well.
