Don't bother cleaning the MAFs on that car with that kind of mileage of they are original...any Beast owner will tell you those are consumables no matter what the book says. I don't know one Beast owner who has not bought a set of MAFs around 50K or just after. Cleaning them will take you about 100 miles down the road before performance goes right back to where it was...and if you have been driving the car with bad MAFs, you will be shocked what that car will feel like with new ones!! They are expensive but well worth it..and you can shop the VW MAFs that work in these cars if you want to save a lot over OEM as others say they are the same units...I bought my MAFs at the dealer.
