So, after being away for quite a while due to being busy etc., decided to return back to this forum!
I've been having a E36 328i for 4,5 years now, bringing it up from 192.000km to 385.000km
Unfortunately the rear trailer arm was parted from the mounting point in the chassis, so this one is RIP.
Not quite so unfortunate because I've already decided to buy an E36 M3 to rebuild.
Doing some business in buying and reselling BMW parts I've come to know quite some demolition companies over here in The Netherlands...
On my path came a damaged Euro 3.2, Estoril Blue, Climate control, Sunroof.
The car only consisted of the chassis, doors, trunklid, windows, all the wiring, complete engine and 6-speed manual.
The car has is from 07/98 and has 119.000km on it
I've picked up the car 2 weeks ago and already completely parted it. First I wanted to rebuild the car, but then I came across a body complete with documents and license plates! It's an original Dutch car, from the same date and month as mine is.
It costed 500 euro's, so I'm due to pick it up tomorrow.
The plan is to rebuild the car, putting over my AST Sportline 2's, my Type 188 LSD, 26,5mm stabi, X-brace and styling 101's
I've also purchased an original GT High Wing and the motorsport flag in original colors (as you guys know from the M3 Lightweight). The car will be sprayed in Alpine Weiss.
So this is my old car:
And below is the complete parting process. Took me 9 hours from the state in the first picture untill the state in the last picture:
Just for good order, this is not me
So I will keep posting updates.
And the big "why" question: E36 M3's should be driving, not sitting going to waste in a dusty corner inside a scrapyard!
Tomorrow I will pick up the second chassis in which the car will be build up in.
