Question Basic engine replacement etiquette

Hey Peep's!

New to the Forums here and I like to say Hello to all of you

Hello, Kris here, I have a '97 M3 and live here in the South Puget Sound, Wa, State.

I was hoping someone could post a link to a written procedure, posted by "BMW" that describes, that before you transfer an intake/exhaust manifold to any clean motor, that "you must flush the systems" both the intake and exhaust systems before installing. I need to find that phrase in a written procedure. Especially the word, FLUSH.

Any help would be Greatly Appreciated!!

Thanks!

Kris
