Question 98 M3 torque to the left.

Hello everyone.

I love my car. I have had it for nearly 5 years now. I have never had an issue I couldn't figure out. Lately, when I accelerate it torques to the left and when I take my foot of the gas to change gears it comes back to the right. I have already replaced tires, had an alignment and I am stumped. I've had people tell me that it could be the motor mount and some say my suspension could be the cause. I would really appreciate any feedback from anyone who's had similar issues or has an idea.

desperately

One possibility is the universal joints and drive shaft to the left rear wheel since it's acting as though only the right rear wheel is in the drive train.

torque to the left...
as in Roll left or,
yaw left??? those are 2 different things.

If u feel roll to the left, check motor mounts and tranny mount; and.
if you feel yaw to left, then yes, check u-joint, and differential oil(u might be low on oil so that the gears dn't "rock" as they should inside the diff..

other than that.. i wd look at alignment, tire pressure,and if it's been going on for sometime... then check tread wear. they can tell u what it is thats happening ;-)

let us know..
