95' M3 starting problems ? ? ?

I purchased a 95' M3 with 120k a few weeks ago and have gotten only 60 miles on it before i discovered my new ride wouldn't start today. The engine cranks perfectly, but wont start up. I thought i must have blown the fuse for the fuel pump, however, the thing turned out to be fine. The plugs and wires were also all replaced not to long ago, so does thing mean my fuel pump has gone out? If anyone has had similar problems and can lend some help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

if you suspect fuel pump problems, here's what you can do:

spray some brake cleaner into the throat of the throttle body and start ur car... if it fires up and then eventually dies; then yes, it is a fuel problem.

If... after you have sprayed it two or three times and it still won'teven sputter, then your problem is electrical.

Have fun and Good Luck.

After finding that not only was it a fuel problem, but that the ignition was also not firing, i decided the problem was bigger than what i could fix on my own and brought the car to a technition. They found that the crank position sensor had failed, which prevents the computer from sending the required signals to the fuel pump and ignition. It was a quick fix, less than a day for the shop to get and replace the sensor. Now the car is running great! Thanks
