I'm looking to buy a used M3... I have 2 questions...
1.) what's the most miles you guys recommend the car will have when I buy it and
2.) is there any difference at all between 2001, 2, 3, and 2004 models? engine wise.. body wise.. or anything at all?
And if you have anything else to tell me about buying used M3 I'll really appreciate it
i recommend a 03 or 04 m3 because the 01 02 have engine trouble they tend to blow up because of a faulty oil pump and the 04 has the nice looking led tail lights i also recommend you find a m3 with 19" they are awesome
p.s the oil pump problem was fixed in cars made after febuary of 2002
for the miles part really it dont matter but you have to see the condition of the engine and whole car wen u buying it dont be afraid to ask how well it was well maintained but who wouldnt take care of such a car
anyways how hard could they drive it
go a couple times to the track on sunday and might race a little on the highway and drag strip
as long as they take car of it and follow the tach ignition lights not to rev high when the engine is cold

if there was a problem it should be fix like my dads benz ml had a streeting problem and they recall all the ml to go get a replace so if there is a problem it should be recall already
