sqweaking rear pads....help if it's possible - BMW Forum

ok. so like my profile says I put PAGID racing pads on the rear and they sqweak. Not to worried since my friends sqweak on his s4. His are from AWE TUNING. Just wondering if anybody had any insight. The sound gets kind of old at the end of the day.

Break sqeaks usually caused by vibration or glazed rotors. May be helpful to resurface and lube slide pins on calipers. Hope that helps.

Umm.. i replaced the rotors and pads together. Relubing might help though. I will try that and get back to you.

yeah if your slide pins are dry they can vibrate and sqeal!Another thing is the pad material depending on what type of material some times you just have to live with the irritating noise.

also lub the pad backing where the pad and calper meet

^ yeah i just got Pagid pads all around on my mercedes and new rotors at well and new lines Make sure you lube them good....
