M3This is an unknown quantity at this point
I do not currently own a much sought after E36 M, though I am looking every day. Some of the cars I see have the rub-strips colormatched and I really like the look. What is the process of doing this? Are the just simply painted, or something special? Sorry for the odd question.

Also, any advice that can be given before I purchase. I live in MN and would probably be driving it year round. It is such a prefect automobile and I'm getting excited to finally own one.

Thanks for all of your input.
