Now im not an idiot by any means. But im open for suggestions. Any type's of Coldair intake, chips, undercarrige pulleys,rear/front strut bar, exhuast, short shift / short throw. Basikly anything you can think of thats quality. NO K n N bull shit.
Dinan
Alpina
Ac Shnitz
^^^^^^ all respectable
PS qustion
Does any1 really believe that the throttle body from oh...i dont know dinan does any good.Or is it just some bull shit for an inline 6 m3? thats for all u bmw lovers.

all those things you listed would be good and yes the big bore throttle body would be good, if you got money to spend get a cam kit from turner motorsport, +57hp, enjoy
Forced induction will put you a Whole football field ahead of the rest.
A good way to start is that cam Kit and Some bolt ons. Then if you wanted to crank it up more get the 6 individual throttle body setup from bimmerworld.
Without spending a rediculous amount of money, you won't make any major gains. That being said, there is always room for improvement.
Dinan throtle body by itself, won't do much, but you could certainly make an M3 breath better. Dinan CAI, e39 540 MAF, Dinan Throttle body, and a free flow exhaust will certainly help this out. Adding software to take advantage of these mods will improve the grin factor even more.
Other boltons or boltoffs (as you mentioned above) will help decrease power loss, but probably won't make a huge difference.
Beyond that you would have to get into the internals (cams, headwork, etc.) which rapidly falls out of the realm of cost effective. This include FI.
Which way would you like to go first... suspension?.. or performance?...
Suspension.. I'd say the best way to advance the M3s performance.. is a good set of shocks and springs all around. Bilstein and H&R are a great set up..
As for Performance... the best gain I've seen so far.. is by far with intake and exhaust... Jim C. makes a great intake.. and Borla is my fav. exhaust...

Well, believe it or not, those little graphy thingies in Dinan's catalog or website are lamda graphs from a dyno. That's where they get the claims of +9hp or +11hp.
As for personal experience, I've been on and off they dyno for the past few weeks, and bolt ons definitely make a difference. I should have more RWHP than a stock M3 of the same year as soon as I get my software dilema out of the way.
Just keep in mind it's not cheap. After all is said and done, I will have well over $1K invested in dyno time over the past month. Most people save for mods, and not for tuning, and that doesn't make sense.
