Well.. its that time of life again.. My Bro Jake got shit bored with his previous junker so he went ahead and bought himself a CLK 55 AMG..
MSRP of this car is $112,000 Canadian Dollars, but with the help of my father we managed to get his ride down to 99,999.00. The car is great, but i still love my lovely M3... BMW for life... but Mercedes isnt a bad investment :P
Anyone elses family members / friends got Mercedes instead of BMW ? :P Post pics or comments...

What would win? All I know about the e55 is that it is fast, I am not a Mercedes guy, either is the rest of my family...Ride is not stiff enough and just isn't sporty enough for me

My friends asked me the same thing... had that thing for about a year and got the 2001 330i..
I know, i feel shameful... gimme a break, everyone makes HUGE mistakes sometimes in their lives :P

The merc will loose both in straight and on twisties, (CLK 55 AMG does 0-60 in 5 secs). Also merc is all about luxury, those cars ride smooth and nice, you have a messaging seatr, which cools or heats up (i think its optional but still crazy luxury)
Come on, the 55 will dust the m3 in a str8 line. I have raced one in my old body clk, and my clk is a little faster, but a lot faster then my m3 stock.

first off idont concider mercedes to be a german car since it isowned by daimler chrysler
i have both and e500 and a 545i smg Which i love but i would for sure 100000000% take the 5 series over the e500 when i drive the e500 at 80 the car is like a monster like a mustan gor something u cant take a turn at more than 80-90 MPH on the free way NO f!cking way but the 545 u can go at least 110 with no worries of the back end sliding out or whatever ok so in mY opinion a an mercedes can never beat a BMW without its supercharger or its twin turbo v12 bmw is just pure motor no turbo no superchager all MOTOR POWER from a smaller engine like my 545 has 325 hp from a 4.4L but the e500 has 300 out of a 5.0L and dotn even talk to me bout torque ok torques definition in adictionanry is BMW

I like some MBZ's but not the CLK, I certainly wouldn't complain with an E55, SL55, SL600, S600, or S55....Also my favorite SUV is the G class MBZ.
The only ones of those I would choose over a BMW is the G class, but I still like em. The S class vs. 7 series would be a tough one as well, I like most things about the Bimmer better but its hard to look the other way when you start talking about the power the new S class has.
