M3 Engine problem-please HELP!!!!!!

Hello,

My name is John and i am from Romania.I have an Bmw M3 fro 2001 with SMG gearbox and i have a problem with my car.Let me describe it to you: the engine is making a strange noise when i push the gas from 2000 RPM to 5000 RPM.I can hear that noise in the top of the engine and it is like something is touching the front cover of the engine.
Please help me !

Hello again,

Following your question the car has 112000 km and aprox 70000 miles and i bought it recently from Germany.You can hear that noise around 3000 RPM.
