Has anyone drove a Competition package M3 and does it ride to stiff for the street?

M3's are pretty stiff as well. So ... in conclusion, yes.

19's would make the ride quality harsher but they look damn beautiful

I drove a M3 Competition Package Convertible today, it was awesome!

The M3 Competition Package is one step below the M3 CSL, and you can only get them in Europe.

IMO it is well worth it.

I'd say, yes.

I just bought an M3 and this hit on some issues I was concerned with.

You will lose some ride quality with the 19s, but the 19s look much, much better, especially live. Pics don't do them justice.

I looked a bit on other forums and Edmunds. A number of folks said the competition package was nice but not worth the money.

The feature I like about the Comp. Package is the ///M track mode button. Which is a lower forum of DSC so you can take turns faster without DSC going on but it will still save your ass if it needs too.

Plus those CSL wheels and the alacantra interior, If you have the money I say go for it. And in my mind, the 19's are a must on that car.

Yes, the ride is a bit stiffer. I have a 05' M3 comp. for sale at a reasonable price. I just got a 08' so the 05' has got to go.... or become a track car. I would like for it to go to a good home. If interested let me know. tim218@mac.com
