Hey, I have owned my 2004 M3 right now for about 3 months, and curretly i am having a problem where the car unlocks by itself. All the windows go down, and the doors unlock without anyone touching the key or the remote. Im not sure wahts going on or how to fix it. Anyone have this problem or know a way to fix it?
This happened already once, and i took it there and it wasn't unlocking by the dealer but they changed the latches, now its acting up again, its weird.
yeah its coming and going. Now it stopped...and then the next day it will start up doing it again...Im afraid to drive my car in the rain...If i park anywhere the windows will go down and the car will get soaked, I really don't know what the problem here is...Im not sure the dealership knows either...so don't really know what to do now.
If I'm not mistaken... in the event the car gets in a crash.. or a wrech.. there are sensors that detect it... and then unlock the doors.. and roll the windows down... its a safety thing... Maybe one of the sensors has gone bad... just an idea... try that out..
