I'm purchasing a 99 M3. One ad said it had power brakes. Another add on another website said it had ABS. The owner says that it is ABS. Is there a way to tell for sure? Possibly using the VIN?

Thanks for your reply. It does seem that ABS is standard but if you look on autotrader or cars.com some cars will be listed with power brakes. Anyway, it is a 5 speed. I am selling my 98 Z3 which I love. I'm just a little leary because he is selling it for way below kbb or TMV. But it checked out fine with carfax. CAn't wait to get it out on the road!!!

wow that's rare, a manual convertable, almost all covertables i've seen on autotrader are automatic, i guess most people who bought convertables were more interested in looking "cool". That sounds like its gonna be fun a manual convertable. When they refer to it as having power brakes aren't they refering to abs, i thought non abs brakes were called standard brakes. Anyways have fun with you new car.

ricer is a term used for asian cars, that people get, and put huge rims and huge wings and huge body kits and huge graphics on and huge fartcan exhausts and think they are so cool and think everyone is trying to race them,

yup exactly fast and the furious made it a million times worse, especially cause they are trying to make money off people's idea of rice being cool, with all the fast and the furious brand products, like fake rims, under car lighting, oh and don't forget the boeing 747 wings they put on the back makes me want to
