I'm sure you guys have tons of info on the differences between the E36 & E46 engines. I know the volumetric effieciency of the E46 is insane, but what about the E36.

The Euro spec e36 M3 engines have a 321 HP output. The early E46 M3 engines do something like 340 HP. The difference isn't that much (both cars have a 3.2 liter engine). In comparison with the US e36 I don't know the HP ratings, but I thought something like 240 HP.
