Has anybody lost a coil pack on any cylinder before? I lost the number six coil pack the other day. Only have 76,000 on the car.

i lost 3 at one time but my car has 174,000 miles so i expected it 300$ later it was good to go again though. if one fails you should probably save yourself the headache of having to change out another or more later on and just swap them all out. i actually didnt do that at the time cuz i could barely aford the 300$ so im just waiting for the day when the rest start going out.

coil pack

That is actually my situation. If i have to replace them all i might as well spend $400.00 and by the upgrade coil pack set from bavarian autosports. I was just wondering. AS far as I can find the tuner sites mainly use bremi for oe replacements. KO performance has it priced at $45.00, where most sites are charging between $50-$70 form them. replacements from napa and other local autoparts stores carry their own brands but are priced around $80.00 to $100.00 per unit.

bav autos are soild if you want to spend the extra money... some people say its worth it, some people dont think so... for peace of mind i would probibly upgrade if i were you and had the money... but KO knows what they are talking about, so whatever they have on stock should be pretty solid also...
