windshield washer reservoir

hi everyone,

I have an e46 m3 and im trying to replace my windshield washer reservoir, however there are two different types one is, where the reservoir is on the top in the engine bay,

which is what i keep finding online, and the second type, which is what i have, has the reservoir going down from the engine bay and its actually further down, but i am having a hard time replacing it, does anyone have a do it yourself guide with pictures?
