Why do the 5 series come with stock Angel Eyes, but the M3 and 3ers don't??? Anyways I was just wondering, if anyone has an answer I would really like to hear it.

i think it is because there are more 3 series sold than 5 series, so its just buisness for the 3 series to have normal lights so it creates a demand for angel eyes but i could be wrong
Yeah, but the 7 has them too. I've been lookin at this thread for days hoping someone knew, its really starting to bother me, your so teasing me with such a question that is not easily found on the web...

I agree with you jllphan, this is a tough question to answer. I believe that in the near future BMW will realize the opertunity and offer the angel eyes as an expensive option. Many people would rather get them factory installed then do it themselves
i think car companies do certain things like this to
A. distinguish between models
B. to give the different models their own attributes. if the 3 series had everything the 5 did, than it would deter lots of customers from the 5 and eventually just buy a 3, the only people who would buy a 5 are the type that want the extra space and room.

And the 7 sells even less than the 5, so that theory still makes sense
I think that's probably the best probability, that BMW doesn't want to give every model the same features, because in addition to deterring buyers from the 5, people who still bought the 5 would probably feel like their extra-spent cash wasn't going as far to distinugish them from "lesser" models
