I'm new to this forum and wanted to say "hi". You may have seen the pictures of my wrecked (destroyed) wrx on some of the forums. I'm looking for the next ride and really like the m3 (haven't driven one yet though).
any opinions on this 01 m3? feel free to post or email me directly. 01 bmw e46 m3
I looked at those pics of your ex-WRX, you are really really lucky!!!
On a happier note the M3 in that page looks pretty good, I really don't like the color but that is an opinion (actually those rims make the color not look too bad). Low milage, one owner, and for 28,000 (probably raise to 30 in final days) I would say it is a reasonable deal. If you get serious into buying it check carfax or another site like that to get the full report. Plus, ask the owner some questions (reason for selling, accidents?)
wow i just looked at you accident links and let me say YOU ARE 1 LUCKY MAN! Somebody was looking out for you that day. Im glad to hear you are OK. Let this be a reminder to all of us how truely precious life is and how fast it can be taken from us. Every day I thank god for another day on this earth because you know ....we're just not guaranteed that.
The local CBS 21 News guys contacted me to do an interview, they ran the spot on the 11pm news a few days ago. See video below
You can see how the trunk & roof was "pinched" between the two trucks. How the hell do I still have my head?
This snapshot really shows just how the front of the car was destroyed when I was pushed underneath the trailer.
The grill/bumper of the truck that rear-ended me was literally right behind my head/headrest. Another inch or two and I probably wouldn't be posting. :-/
