I have been looking around and i just stumbled around a 1999 Techno Violet M3 with 40400 miles on it selling for $15000 .. at first i didnt belive it but then i contacted the person selling it. To me it seems like the guy just wants to get rid of the car because he doesnt have time to deal with other stuff. I checked www.kbb.com for the value of the car and its worth roughly $25000. At first i thought something would be wrong with the car but as i was talking to the seller he doesnt have time for the car and he wants to get rid of it and he also said if needed i could get it inspected ... is it worth it or not to take any chances?
i bet some has to do with techno violet not being a very popular color. 2 years ago i came across a tech.violet 96 M3, around 60-80k miles with some sort of creamy butter scotch interior and a dealer was selling it for $12k simply becuase of the color combo.
what source did you find this car in? and yes, techno violet isnt the nicest color lol. but for 15k and only 44k miles, thats a steal. i would be very cautious.
