Between the bilstein and H&R combo and the Koni/Eibach combo, I prefer the Koni/Eibach combo. It made my M3 handle like a go-kart at any speed I want to throw at it.
I have H&R's and Konis on the 540 that Eric put on there...honestly they're not as stable as the Eibachs. The Eibachs are more predictable.
The H&R sports are more comfortable but the Race springs or Eibachs will give you far better handling.

I don't think it's too low unless u get a splitter. I had the sports and I was dying to switch them out.

I have sports and they are tooo low. Sports and Race act differently on e36 non-M vs. e36m.
As they sit now my 18's tuck the tire sidewall almost entirely to the wheel and nicely into my rear fender wells. The fronts tuck a tiny part of the front tire.
