i've heard of m3's that are that cheap its probably from a liquidation company, and you have to hurry up because those things only stay on the market for like 3 days, you have to contact the seller then they enter your name in a drawing of 10 or so people who contacted them and whoever's name is picked they sell it to them, that's what i've seen in the past with deals like that

either that or its a scam
i contacted the sller over fone THE NUMBER WAS DISCONNECTED
then i e-mailed him and he replied he told me he needed to slel because he needed money fast
but y not jus sell it to a dealer? he could way more than 13k from a dealer
he told me that if i depoisted 3k to him thru western union then he'd ship the car to me after he got the money and i could check it out
.. my version of the story.. he's gonna take the money n never send the car
thanks....I got the "emergency money" story via email but backed out after getting an estimate of $10k for property fencing....it was 100 miles away anyway and it wasn't likely to happen :P

are there really people who are out there who are that stupid, yeah i'll send you 3k western union, and then you ship the car to me,lol
Originally posted by Stunnd65@Aug 24 2004, 07:21 PM I really hope not. I emailed both people and both wanted $3k before even seeing the car. The one guy has the car in Italy, apparently.
i guess there must be cause if there weren't any people that stupid, these guys wouldn't be trying to pull this scam, everyone says the same thing it's in another country and they'll ship it to ya if you pay them first idiots
Those are scams, been around long...on ebay, autotrader, everywhere.
They all want a deposit of $2-3000, by Western Union, and operate from overseas like Italy or Eastern Europe. You have 2 weeks to decide on car after receiving it at your door.
I was stupid enough (well..curious too) to waste my time asking on a couple ads and got similar responses. I reported them to ebay, the other one to autotrader. Ads were removed after that.
