Hi,
Bought an M roadster as I love a fast car. I'm no boy racer but love the occasional race to test car v car. Problem is the only car that ever bother are Golf GTI's and quite frankly it's pointless.

I want to try against a normal M3, Scooby turbo and Evo mark 7/8 to test out both the car and my reactions but nothing yet. What is the point of a fast car unless you can boot it once in a while?

you'd be surprised. depending on the year, that M Roadster could be packing the motor from the e46 M3, all in a lighter package. it'd be a driver's race.

I had a friend destroy an m coupe with the e46 motor with his suercharged R32. both highway and stand sill.....and another friend has a gti chipped with no other mods and he stays beside me from start to finish....you shouldnt underestimate a VW especially since a majority a turbo now days........

The M motor in the M coupe has only lik 320bhp because of heat issues.

"only" 320hp? that's only down 16 from the M3. plus, the coupe is an altogether (i believe) lighter package.

Just sold a 330bhp RS Cosworth, and I used to trounce my mate in his M3 everytime, so I would say definately that the M Roadster is out of its depth with an Impreza and certainly with an Evo 8

You might be able to get one of those sububus if you go at speed, they don't have stamina. But others are right... careful (especially) of the R32's. I learned the hard way that they are awful quick. But it's more than doable... some m roadsters get sick quick. I don't know enough about the evo's from personal experience...
