So... I've noticed that twice in the passed week (incidentally, whenever I'm in my car ogling the lotus elise in the parking lot), my left turn blinker shorts; but only for 10 seconds?!?
What's that about?
i.e. the blinker from inside the car goes real rapid (like if a signal was out), but if I get out, everything's fine, when I get in, everything's fine. Huh.
It was also 70 degrees on both those days (averaging around 50 lately here).
Any ideas on what might be causing this other than my car getting jealous of the lotus?
After a half-hearted forum search, and a half-hearted look through any papwerowrk I had, I quickly could not justify poking around the electronics of my vehicle without further instruction.
Is there a DIY for this somewhere? I'm very easily taught.
just take it to a garage. The labour on something like this would be very minimal, no more than $20. It's a 10 minute job, especially for a bmw garage. If they charge you more than this, try a Haynes manual (not sure if they do one for M3's though)

Haynes has one for the 3 series and i had a 325 which was why i had the hanyes manual. didn't see anything for the M series though. I know there is one out there made by bently.
So THAT's where you get the goods. Which one is recommended? I hear so much about Bentley, but have only known about Haynes as long as I have this forum...

I have the haynes like i stated and am not really that happy with it. i don't feel that there are enough pics with the explanation. I don't know if there is a chilton's manual for our M but i am thinking about giving the bently a try. I would love to get a hold of a service manual on cd though. I have one for my 3000GT and it came straight from the dealer service manual. if you get it let me know how it is.
