Stock Engine And Tranny Horse Power Limit

Just homw much hp can the stock block of the e46 m3 hold? I am planing to do a custom turbo setup with the company Sound-Performance
( www.sound-performance.com ) and i want to know if i have to build up the engine and tranny to make it work. The goals for the car is in the 600-750rwhp range depending on the engine strength cause i dont want to do a major job that coasts loads upon loads of money. I am pretty new to the m3 i have a tt supra with 850rwhp but i think its time to move on to a new project now.

Stock M3 E46 will not survive under a turbo project. Even the standard E46 M3 suffers. We know about lots of engine failures.

You need different pistons and connecting rods.
Pistons and connecting rods must be forged and lighter.
The final software has to be excellent.

Sound performance is a very good tuning company, however they modify Supras. BMW is a different car, and I know what I am talking about.

I recommend you to supercharger the E46 and make maximum 450 hp, meanwhile change the connecting rods,
