Steering Wheel Adjustment!

Hey, i currently own a 1995 m3 and i can't seem to adjust my steering wheel... Yes, i look stupid for asking, but please somebody teach me how to adjust it. All my friends tried to adjust it too, but they couldn't figure it out as well used . Anyway, my arm hurts like hell every time i drive, so help me please!

There is a lever under the steering column, pull it down and you can adjust the wheel.

Only adjustable up and down though n

Wasn't certain about what it looked like yesterday, but checked today.
You'll find the grip of the lever very high up, almost at the wheel.

Are you sure it's gone?

Hey....

This steering Wheel Adjustment has been buggin me for about 4 years now...with 3 different E36's i have had. For some reason....bmw did not make a steering wheel adjustement a standard option on the E36 models. I have had a 93, 325i, with a steering wheel adjustment, then a 96 328i, without one, now i have a 99 M3, and still no steering wheel ajustment. I talked to a mechanic about it, and he said that was one of the complaints about the E36 model, so now i think it is standard on all model BMW's.
