So my M3 is about 4500 miles old. It had it's 2500 servicing, and, yes, I occasionally punch it pretty hard. The thing is, I get a very squeaky belt towards the front of the car. I sprayed on some belt degreaser and it seems to work only for about a day. The noise is particularly worse in the morning at start-up. A friend of mine says he has a similar problem, and I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?
Yeah, I'm bringing my car in tomorrow for the iPod adapter installation, and I'm going to bring it up w/ them. I'm just curious to see if it's a common issue for these cars...
sometimes you will get belts that will never stay quiet. A quick replacement by the dealer will solve your problem.
