Radiator Fan Stays on

Hi I'm having problems with my M3 EVO the Radaitor Fan stays on all of the time??

I had a look at the contacts on the rad switch and they seemed ok,but I found what looks like an inline resistor that was red hot to touch!!! Could this be what is tripping the fan on and if so does anyone know exactly what it is and replacement possibilities ???

I suppose that if the resistor was burnt out then that could be the reason.

They other cause would be your engine overheating and the fan being on constantly to cool it. Does it come on when you first start the car in the morning?

Is your temp stable?

Hi Comes on as sson as you put the ignition on before the car has started, so the temp is cold
Do you know what this resistor is called so I can source a replacement?
