My front bumper was scuffed pretty badly and I'm replacing it with a bumper with a lip. My old one didn't have one. Is the lip supposed to be painted? If so what color? Also where is the paint code on the E36?

The lip may or may not be painted, pretty much depending on your preference. And the paint code should be on your left strut tower, under the hood. For instance, my 318i is Schwartz II. Or is that Schwarz II...
