Anybody here aware of anyone that sells oversized aftermarket driver and passenger side mirrors for a '98 M3 sedan? I've found my blind spot is significantly enlarged in comparison to my Toyota pickup. I've only had the car a couple weeks and already have come close to cutting people off because they were driving in my blindspot. Even turning my head doesn't quite make up for the areas I am missing. Tried several of the popular BMW websites, bavauto, bimmerworld, etc, and while they sell mirrors, it's usually standard replacement items.

Thanks for any help!

Never heard of the problem before, I drive my my Grandma's 98 3 series all the time and I dont have any problems with blind spots. However, the M3 has different mirrors. I would just mess around with the adjustment a little bit. Put it further out, and use your head to see what is next to you.

Well, that's the problem. My head doesn't turn quite as well as it used to. Symptom of old age I guess

You will get used to them over time. I had the same experiences when I first bought my car.

m3s have really small mirrors... if you want bigger ones, the best bet is to go with 325 or 328 mirrors

however, if you go with 325 or 328i mirrors, people may think it is fake, so if that matters to you....

But if it doesn't I would gladly swap with you. Is your car white too, or might it be black?
