According to current conversion rates, the new M5 will cost around $98000 U.S thats without tax. Thats a lot, just wondering how much did the old M5 retail for.
Don't think that will be the price. The European price includes a 15% VAT tax. The M5 will have to be competetive with the E55 and CLS55, both about $85,000.
There are hugh price differences through Europe. For example (all prices including tax); Netherlands 128,900 EUR (173,000 USD); Germany 86,200 EUR (116,000 USD); Austria 103,650 EUR (139,000 USD).
It sucks to live in the Netherlands when you like cars.......

You can't convert it like currency. Countries are different. For example if you converted the price peopel in canada pay for the e46 M3 you would notice they pay close to $58,000 for a coupe M3. I'm almost sure it will range from about 77-82 starting off. Maybe 85 after markup in the first 6-8 months.
