Over 100bhp per litre for the fourth generation super saloon
BMW Great Britain has announced first details of the forthcoming BMW M5. Faithfully resembling the Concept M5 revealed at the Geneva Motorshow in March 2004, the fourth generation of ‘businessman’s express’ will be the most powerful BMW road car ever built, generating 507bhp and surpassing the magical 100bhp per litre mark.

It has been confirmed to have lapped Nurburgring in eight seconds flat - some 25 seconds faster than the E39 M5! That is solidly within exotic, supercar lap times posted at Nurburgring. She boasts more than 500 hp, a 200 mph + top end and BMW claims 1.3 g's on the skidpad. Those are some serious, serious numbers!

Is this a typo? used [/b][/quote]
im assuming it is supposed to be 2.5 (if that's what your talking about)
Eight seconds - damn, now that would be impressive! ghead
Correction... Eight MINUTES flat. That is only a few seconds off of what, to the best of my knowledge, is still the Nurburgring track record for a road-going car - currently held by the Porsche GT3.
